Classical Conversations Cycle 3 - weeks 1-6

*If you are new to homeschooling or new to Classical Conversations please don't feel like you have to get ALL of this done each week.  I have found the memory work brings out my kid's questions some weeks.  This is a way for me to flesh out the memory work.  However, I am SURE there will be weeks that we will just work on reviewing the memory work, our math, reading/writing, and a read aloud. I absolutely love reading books aloud with my kids!

If you don't already know about this sight and you are a Classical Conversations homeschooler, then you NEED to know about this sight Half A Hundred Acre Wood.  This link goes directly the the note booking pages she has made to go with CC.
We will be using note booking pages through www.notebookingpages.com  The lifetime subscription is $100.  However, I will say that if you really use this resource, it is well worth the $100!  There are truly pages that fit everything.  If that is not in your budget, they do offer several free pages.  I have no affiliation with this website, and I do not get any kickback for sharing this site.  I just like to pass along a good resource when I find one! :o)

Ross King is a musician here in Texas that also has kids in Classical Conversations.  He has written songs for each cycle's Bible memory.  You can buy them here.  For cycle 3 he has written John 1 in both Latin and English.

Our main History text will be A Child's First Book of American History.  I was on a search for an American History book that closely followed the scope and sequence of Classical Conversation's cycle 3.  This one also has great colored pencil drawings that neat to look at.
